a pond and woodland area at Bottle Hollow Farm

Trees at
Bottle Hollow Farm

We're fortunate to have several woodland areas on the farm. We keep these as natural spaces to enhance the ecosystem and support an abundance of wildlife.

We endeavor to let the forest be as "wild" as possible, but try to keep up with maintenance such as controlling invasive plant species and selective removal of diseased or damaged trees to improve the overall forest health.

Some hillsides on the property were kept as pastures by prior owners. We've elected to reforest many areas that are better suited to grow trees instead of grass. On average, we plant more than 50 trees each year.
